Ein neues EU-\u00dcberwachungssystem, das genauere Daten zu Nicht-CO2-Emissionen liefern soll, wird in Frage gestellt. Anstatt Nicht-CO2-Emissionen auf allen Fl\u00fcgen aus Europa zu \u00fcberwachen, werden nur Fl\u00fcge innerhalb des Europ\u00e4ischen Wirtschaftsraums (EWR) ber\u00fccksichtigt. Unternehmen und die Zivilgesellschaft fordern die Europ\u00e4ische Kommission auf, einen vollst\u00e4ndigen geografischen Geltungsbereich f\u00fcr das System sicherzustellen, um die Gesamtauswirkungen von Fl\u00fcgen genau zu erfassen und die Bem\u00fchungen zur Reduzierung der Reiseemissionen zu unterst\u00fctzen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Viele gro\u00dfe Unternehmen sind entschlossen, ihren Beitrag zur Eind\u00e4mmung des Klimawandels zu leisten. Sie melden und reduzieren ihre Gesamtemissionen sowie die Emissionen im Zusammenhang mit Gesch\u00e4ftsreisen, einschlie\u00dflich der Strahlungsbelastung.<\/span><\/p>\n

Um dieses Ziel zu erreichen, brauchen sie die Europ\u00e4ische Kommission, die daf\u00fcr sorgt, <\/span>gleiche Wettbewerbsbedingungen mit harmonisierten Standards und Methoden f\u00fcr Gesch\u00e4ftsreisen, um zur F\u00f6rderung des dekarbonisierten Reisens in Europa beitragen zu k\u00f6nnen.<\/span> Die Reduzierung der Emissionen aus Gesch\u00e4ftsreisen kann ohne eine Verbesserung der Standards zur Klimabilanzierung nicht in Angriff genommen werden.<\/span><\/p>\n

Eines der Hindernisse, mit denen Unternehmen konfrontiert sind <\/span>ist die Schwierigkeit, Emissionen und Klimaauswirkungen aufgrund der Vielzahl aktueller Methoden vollst\u00e4ndig zu verfolgen<\/span>. Sie m\u00f6chten ihre reisebedingten Emissionen genauer angeben k\u00f6nnen, aber es mangelt an besseren Leitlinien. Der Rahmen f\u00fcr \u00dcberwachung, Berichterstattung und \u00dcberpr\u00fcfung (MRV) des EU-Emissionshandelssystems (ETS) sollte es Unternehmen erm\u00f6glichen, die gesamten Klimaauswirkungen von Reisen leichter zu ber\u00fccksichtigen, indem er umfassende Berichtsstandards f\u00fcr nicht CO2-bedingte Auswirkungen des Flugverkehrs enth\u00e4lt. Die EU sollte einen vollst\u00e4ndigen geografischen Geltungsbereich f\u00fcr die Berichterstattung \u00fcber nicht CO2-bedingte Emissionen aller Fl\u00fcge in die EU und aus der EU sicherstellen, um dem globalen Charakter von Gesch\u00e4ftsreisen und der Nachhaltigkeitsberichterstattung von Unternehmen Rechnung zu tragen.<\/span><\/p>\n
