Dezember 2023 eine Reihe neuer Anforderungen ver\u00f6ffentlicht, um den Klima-Fu\u00dfabdruck der Reisen ihrer Bundesbediensteten zu reduzieren. Zu den Vorgaben geh\u00f6rt unter anderem die Umstellung auf Bahnreisen. Es wurde die folgende Regel festgelegt: Bundesbedienstete nutzen f\u00fcr Fahrten von weniger als 250 Meilen (ca. 400 km) die Bahn, sofern dies kosteng\u00fcnstig und verf\u00fcgbar ist, anstatt ein Flugzeug oder Fahrzeug zu nehmen.
