Die Initiative unterst\u00fctzt die Ziele Europas, bis 2050 CO2-Neutralit\u00e4t zu erreichen und seine globale Wettbewerbsf\u00e4higkeit zu st\u00e4rken.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Der Plan baut auf dem <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/transport.ec.europa.eu\/transport-themes\/infrastructure-and-investment\/trans-european-transport-network-ten-t_en\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">transeurop\u00e4isches Verkehrsnetz<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (TEN-T), dessen Ziel es ist, die Reisezeiten auf wichtigen europ\u00e4ischen Bahnstrecken zu halbieren. So werden Reisende beispielsweise bis 2030 in vier statt sieben Stunden von Berlin nach Kopenhagen gelangen k\u00f6nnen. Bis 2035 wird die Bahnfahrt zwischen Sofia und Athen statt 14 Stunden nur noch sechs Stunden dauern, w\u00e4hrend neue grenz\u00fcberschreitende Verbindungen die baltischen Staaten miteinander verbinden und es Reisenden erm\u00f6glichen werden, von Paris \u00fcber Madrid nach Lissabon zu fahren.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Neben schnelleren Fahrten zielt der Plan auch darauf ab, Staus zu verringern, die Kapazit\u00e4t auf konventionellen Strecken zu erh\u00f6hen und den Regional- und Nachtverkehr zu verbessern.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dies ist ein wichtiger Schritt, um die Verlagerung vom Luftverkehr auf die Schiene einzuleiten und alternative nachhaltige Verkehrsmittel f\u00fcr Gesch\u00e4ftsreisende zu erm\u00f6glichen.<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The European Commission published a plan to accelerate the development of high\u2011speed rail across the EU\u00a0 by 2040, making many rail journeys significantly faster and more competitive.
