La iniciativa respalda los objetivos de Europa de alcanzar la neutralidad en carbono para 2050 y reforzar su competitividad global.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El plan se basa en el <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/transport.ec.europa.eu\/transport-themes\/infrastructure-and-investment\/trans-european-transport-network-ten-t_en\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">red transeuropea de transporte<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (RTE-T), cuyo objetivo es reducir a la mitad los tiempos de viaje en las principales rutas ferroviarias europeas. Por ejemplo, en 2030, los pasajeros podr\u00e1n viajar de Berl\u00edn a Copenhague en cuatro horas en lugar de siete.
