Alors que d&#039;autres secteurs r\u00e9duisent leurs \u00e9missions, l&#039;impact climatique de l&#039;aviation augmente. Cette ann\u00e9e, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/flightradar24\/status\/1677361887812493329?s=20\">6 juillet<\/a>\u00a0Ce fut la journ\u00e9e la plus charg\u00e9e de l\u2019histoire de l\u2019aviation commerciale. En une seule journ\u00e9e, 134 386 vols commerciaux ont \u00e9t\u00e9 enregistr\u00e9s. Les pr\u00e9visions montrent que le nombre de passagers devrait doubler d\u2019ici 2050. Avec les trajectoires actuelles, les carburants d\u2019aviation durables (SAF) ne seront pas mis \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle \u00e0 temps pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 l\u2019urgence d\u2019att\u00e9nuer le changement climatique et de respecter l\u2019Accord de Paris visant \u00e0 limiter l\u2019augmentation de la temp\u00e9rature bien en dessous de 2 degr\u00e9s Celsius.<\/p>\n<p>Limiter la demande de transport a\u00e9rien est une n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 absolue\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.transportenvironment.org\/discover\/2050roadmap\/\">(voir la feuille de route T&amp;E<\/a>). Certaines des routes les plus fr\u00e9quent\u00e9es d&#039;Europe et m\u00eame des \u00c9tats-Unis peuvent \u00eatre tr\u00e8s facilement parcourues en train. Le Travel Smart\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/travelsmartcampaign.org\/fr\/\">campagne<\/a>\u00a0a calcul\u00e9 que voyager en train entre Amsterdam et Londres r\u00e9duit les \u00e9missions de 93% par rapport \u00e0 l&#039;avion, 92% entre New York et Washington et 82% entre Madrid et Londres.<\/p>\n<p>La r\u00e9duction des vols d&#039;affaires a commenc\u00e9 avec la pand\u00e9mie de coronavirus. T&amp;E a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/travelsmartcampaign.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Rail-first-for-business_2023-11-2.pdf\">trouv\u00e9\u00a0<\/a>Toutes les entreprises de notre nouvelle enqu\u00eate qui ont d\u00e9clar\u00e9 leurs kilom\u00e8tres parcourus en avion en 2019 les ont r\u00e9duits en 2022. Cette tendance doit \u00eatre acc\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9e en utilisant tous les outils existants. Pour les entreprises, il s&#039;agit de red\u00e9finir les voyages \u00e0 but pr\u00e9cis, de d\u00e9velopper des outils de collaboration virtuelle et de passer au rail, qui est l&#039;objectif ici.<\/p>\n<p>Le nouveau\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/travelsmartcampaign.org\/fr\/\">Classement<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/travelsmartcampaign.org\/fr\/le-rail-en-premier\/\">Campagne \u00ab Le rail avant tout \u00bb<\/a>\u00a0a analys\u00e9 les pratiques de voyages d&#039;affaires de 322 des plus grandes entreprises mondiales pour voir si elles envisageaient de passer de l&#039;avion au train. Voyons ce que nous avons d\u00e9couvert.<\/p>\n<p><b>Peu de dirigeants d&#039;entreprises ferroviaires, la majorit\u00e9 d&#039;entre eux sont assis dans leur si\u00e8ge d&#039;avion<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Sur les 322 entreprises examin\u00e9es, seules 28 ont \u00e9t\u00e9 identifi\u00e9es comme ayant mis en place des politiques internes de transition de l&#039;air vers le rail. Environ 901 entreprises du panel n&#039;ont pris aucune mesure pour passer de l&#039;air au rail ou n&#039;ont pas communiqu\u00e9 \u00e0 ce sujet. Sept des 28 entreprises sont en t\u00eate en raison de leur engagement plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 \u00e0 passer de l&#039;air au rail.<\/p>\n<p>Pour obtenir ces informations, nous avons contact\u00e9 chacune des 322 entreprises par le biais d\u2019une enqu\u00eate et utilis\u00e9 les informations d\u2019entreprise accessibles au public li\u00e9es au rail. Au cours des six derniers mois, nous avons \u00e9chang\u00e9 avec diff\u00e9rentes multinationales sur le passage de l\u2019air au rail. Nous voulions comprendre les obstacles \u00e0 l\u2019action. Voici les deux principaux enseignements de ces \u00e9changes :<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Le passage de l\u2019air au rail est une nouveaut\u00e9 pour de nombreuses entreprises.<\/b>\u00a0Toutes les entreprises avec lesquelles nous avons discut\u00e9 sont engag\u00e9es dans la r\u00e9duction de leur empreinte climatique globale, mais la plupart manquent de politiques internes concr\u00e8tes pour limiter les vols.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/travelsmartcampaign.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Rail-first-for-business_2023-11-2.pdf\">publication<\/a>\u00a0Le rapport pr\u00e9sente les meilleures pratiques des entreprises du monde entier et \u00e9num\u00e8re cinq mesures cl\u00e9s que les entreprises peuvent mettre en \u0153uvre pour favoriser le passage au rail. Un point de d\u00e9part consiste \u00e0 \u00e9tablir des budgets pour le climat des voyages et \u00e0 interdire les vols sur de courtes distances.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Certaines entreprises soulignent les obstacles \u00e0 la transition vers le rail.<\/b>\u00a0Dans nos \u00e9changes, certaines entreprises ont r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement soulign\u00e9 que le passage au rail n&#039;\u00e9tait pas possible en raison des inefficacit\u00e9s du r\u00e9seau ferroviaire (par exemple, la complexit\u00e9 de la billetterie, le temps perdu en raison des retards ou de la lenteur des trains, etc.). Si certains des obstacles identifi\u00e9s sont l\u00e9gitimes, je pense qu&#039;ils ne le sont pas tous. D&#039;abord parce qu&#039;on peut \u00eatre beaucoup plus productif en travaillant dans un train que dans un avion. Mais aussi parce que la vision des entreprises sur le temps pass\u00e9 dans les transports doit \u00e9voluer. La fa\u00e7on de travailler apr\u00e8s la pand\u00e9mie et dans un contexte d&#039;urgence climatique croissante ne peut plus \u00eatre la m\u00eame qu&#039;avant. Pour dire les choses clairement : un aller-retour en avion dans la journ\u00e9e entre Berlin et Bruxelles a un impact climatique trop \u00e9lev\u00e9 pour \u00eatre acceptable \u00e0 notre \u00e9poque, o\u00f9 les cons\u00e9quences de la crise climatique sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 si visibles. Pour les obstacles l\u00e9gitimes, nous poussons les entreprises \u00e0 faire entendre leur voix aupr\u00e8s des d\u00e9cideurs et \u00e0 devenir les d\u00e9fenseurs d&#039;un meilleur r\u00e9seau ferroviaire qui leur permettra de passer plus facilement au rail. Certaines entreprises ont montr\u00e9 leur volont\u00e9 de le faire. En octobre,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.transportenvironment.org\/discover\/ikea-and-70-companies-call-on-the-commission-to-publish-the-mdms-regulation-by-the-end-of-the-year\/\">70 entreprises<\/a>, dont IKEA et Unilever, ont appel\u00e9 la Commission europ\u00e9enne \u00e0 l\u00e9gif\u00e9rer sur une meilleure billetterie (R\u00e8glement MDMS) pour permettre la transition de l&#039;avion vers le rail. La voie \u00e0 suivre est de faire en sorte que les entreprises mondiales r\u00e9clament de meilleurs rails et joignent leurs voix \u00e0 celles de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile et du secteur ferroviaire.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>La r\u00e9duction de la demande dans le secteur a\u00e9rien est n\u00e9cessaire pour atteindre l\u2019objectif de l\u2019Accord de Paris. Les voyageurs d\u2019affaires repr\u00e9sentent jusqu\u2019\u00e0\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pwc.com\/us\/en\/industries\/consumer-markets\/library\/corporate-travel-collaboration-essential-for-covid-19-recovery.html\">75% des revenus<\/a>\u00a0Pour certains vols, les compagnies a\u00e9riennes doivent montrer la voie \u00e0 suivre pour r\u00e9duire l&#039;impact climatique de l&#039;aviation. Le Travel Smart\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/travelsmartcampaign.org\/fr\/le-rail-en-premier\/\">Le rail\u00a0<\/a>La campagne est l&#039;occasion pour eux d&#039;apprendre les uns des autres.
