Le rapport note que la compensation volontaire a \u00e9t\u00e9 critiqu\u00e9e pour son manque de r\u00e9glementation, certains projets ne parvenant pas \u00e0 produire les r\u00e9ductions d&#039;\u00e9missions promises, voire entra\u00eenant des impacts environnementaux et sociaux n\u00e9gatifs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 ces pr\u00e9occupations, le rapport recommande au gouvernement britannique d&#039;\u00e9tablir un cadre r\u00e9glementaire pour la compensation volontaire qui garantisse la transparence, l&#039;additionnalit\u00e9 et l&#039;int\u00e9grit\u00e9 environnementale. Le rapport recommande \u00e9galement que le gouvernement \u00e9tablisse des normes pour la s\u00e9lection et le suivi des projets, et veille \u00e0 ce que les cr\u00e9dits carbone ne soient retir\u00e9s qu&#039;une fois qu&#039;ils ont \u00e9t\u00e9 v\u00e9rifi\u00e9s par un tiers accr\u00e9dit\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Outre le r\u00f4le du gouvernement dans la r\u00e9glementation et la promotion de la compensation volontaire, le rapport recommande \u00e9galement des mesures que les entreprises et les particuliers peuvent prendre pour garantir l&#039;efficacit\u00e9 de leur compensation\u00a0:<\/span><b> le rapport note que les entreprises devraient d&#039;abord se concentrer sur la r\u00e9duction de leurs propres \u00e9missions et n&#039;utiliser la compensation qu&#039;en dernier recours<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
