L'iniziativa sostiene gli obiettivi dell'Europa di raggiungere la neutralit\u00e0 carbonica entro il 2050 e rafforzare la sua competitivit\u00e0 globale.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Il piano si basa sul <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/transport.ec.europa.eu\/transport-themes\/infrastructure-and-investment\/trans-european-transport-network-ten-t_en\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">rete transeuropea di trasporto<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (TEN-T) che mira a dimezzare i tempi di percorrenza sulle principali linee ferroviarie europee. Ad esempio, entro il 2030 i passeggeri potranno viaggiare da Berlino a Copenaghen in quattro ore invece che in sette. Entro il 2035, Sofia e Atene saranno raggiungibili in sei ore di treno invece che in 14, mentre nuovi collegamenti transfrontalieri collegheranno i paesi baltici e consentiranno ai passeggeri di viaggiare da Parigi a Lisbona passando per Madrid.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Oltre a viaggi pi\u00f9 veloci, il piano mira anche ad alleggerire il traffico, aumentare la capacit\u00e0 delle linee convenzionali e potenziare i servizi regionali e notturni.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Si tratta di un passo fondamentale per avviare il passaggio dall'aereo al treno e consentire modalit\u00e0 di trasporto alternative e sostenibili per i viaggiatori d'affari.<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The European Commission published a plan to accelerate the development of high\u2011speed rail across the EU\u00a0 by 2040, making many rail journeys significantly faster and more competitive.
