Wij hebben contact opgenomen met bedrijven uit de\u00a0Topvliegers<\/a>\u00a0in onze Travel Smart\u00a0Ranking<\/a>, om hen te vragen zich te committeren om niet meer met een priv\u00e9jet naar Davos te vliegen. We hebben duurzamere alternatieve oplossingen uitgelicht:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Geef prioriteit aan reizen per trein:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

  • Bij reizen binnen Europa<\/li>\n
  • Door vertegenwoordigers te sturen die gevestigd zijn op locaties die per spoor bereikbaar zijn, in plaats van in het buitenland<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n
    \n

    Als vliegen noodzakelijk is, kies dan voor een commerci\u00eble vlucht met een aanzienlijk kleinere footprint.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    \n

    We ontvingen twee reacties van bedrijven die zich ertoe verbonden hebben om geen priv\u00e9jets meer te gebruiken. De CEO van Saint-Gobain reisde per trein en vertegenwoordigers van KPMG reisden per commerci\u00eble luchtvaartmaatschappij of trein.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    In een open brief vroegen we de deelnemers van het WEF om zich te houden aan het duurzame reisbeleid van het WEF door te kiezen voor de trein en niet te vliegen met een priv\u00e9jet.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    \n

    Daarnaast hebben we het WEF gevraagd om de aanbevelingen te bewaken en ervoor te zorgen dat deze worden nageleefd. Zo willen we bredere veranderingen op gang brengen en de trend richting duurzaam reizen stimuleren.<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
