Nederland heeft het terugdringen van de uitstoot door reizen verplicht gesteld: vanaf juli 2024 moeten bedrijven met meer dan 100 werknemers jaarlijks aan de overheid rapporteren over de voortgang bij het behalen van de verplichte 50%-verlaging van de binnenlandse mobiliteitsuitstoot in 2030 ten opzichte van het niveau van 2016.<\/span><\/p>\n

Deze eis is onderdeel van de Nederlandse <\/span>Klimaatakkoord<\/span><\/a> en dit geldt zowel voor zakenreizen als voor woon-werkverkeer. <\/span>De <\/span>Besluit arbeidsgerelateerde mobiliteit van personen<\/span><\/a> en zijn <\/span>rapportageverplichting<\/span><\/a> streven ernaar om de CO2-uitstoot veroorzaakt door werkgerelateerde mobiliteit tegen 2030 met minimaal 1,5 megaton te verminderen.<\/span><\/p>\n

De overeenkomst presenteert de verschuiving van lucht naar spoor als een oplossing om emissies te verminderen. Er staat dat alle reizen voor afstanden onder de 700 km, waarbij de reistijd van deur tot deur per trein <150% de reistijd per vliegtuig is, per spoor moeten worden afgelegd.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2026 zal een evaluatie plaatsvinden van de gerapporteerde gegevens. Als uit de evaluatie van de rapporten blijkt dat de collectieve doelstelling van een 50%-reductie in 2030 niet wordt gehaald, zal de Nederlandse overheid normen opleggen aan <\/span>een maximale CO2-uitstoot per km, <\/span>waaraan individuele bedrijven zich moeten houden.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

De leden van de <\/span>Anders Reizen coalitie,<\/span><\/a> een groep van meer dan 70 grote bedrijven met ongeveer 550.000 werknemers, <\/span> hebben beloofd de eisen van de Nederlandse overheid te volgen om over te stappen op het spoor en de uitstoot te verminderen.<\/span><\/p>\n
