In hun Net Zero by 2050-routekaart heeft het IEA<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> onderzoekt het volledige spectrum van energievraagstukken, inclusief de vraag naar transport, om de betrouwbaarheid, betaalbaarheid en duurzaamheid van de transitie van de mondiale energiesector naar Net Zero te verbeteren.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De transportsector is een sector die veel energie vraagt en daarom speelt gedragsverandering daarin een bijzonder belangrijke rol. In het specifieke geval van de luchtvaart, d<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De vraag zou tussen 2020 en 2050 wereldwijd meer dan verdrievoudigen als er geen gedragsveranderingen plaatsvinden.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Volgens het IEA \u201cleiden drie veranderingen tot een vermindering van de uitstoot door de luchtvaart met 50% in 2050, terwijl het aantal vluchten met slechts 12% wordt verminderd\u201d. Zakenreizen waren v\u00f3\u00f3r de pandemie goed voor meer dan een kwart van het vliegverkeer, dus als het vliegverkeer voor zakelijke doeleinden op het niveau van 2019 blijft, wordt in 2050 ongeveer 110 miljoen ton CO2 vermeden.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Andere wijzigingen zijn onder meer het specifiek aanpakken van langeafstandsvluchten. De gemiddelde uitstoot van dit soort vluchten is 35 keer groter dan die van een regionale vlucht, dus het vermijden ervan heeft een groot potentieel voor emissiereductie. Zelfs als de mogelijkheden om regionale vluchten naar het hogesnelheidsspoor te verschuiven per regio verschillen, schat het IEA dat tegen 2050 ongeveer 17% van de regionale vluchten naar het spoor zou kunnen worden verschoven, wat de uitstoot in 2050 met ongeveer 45 Mt CO2 zou verminderen. <\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The International Energy Agency (IEA) works with countries around the world to shape energy policies.
