Het decreet bouwt voort op eerdere regels voor niet-financi\u00eble verslaglegging en zorgt voor meer duidelijkheid om eerdere inconsistenties op te lossen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bedrijven die onder het koninklijk besluit vallen, hebben nu drie belangrijke milieuverplichtingen. Ze moeten:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jaarlijks berekenen van hun bedrijfs-CO2-voetafdruk. Scope 3 (andere indirecte emissies): alle andere indirecte emissies die plaatsvinden in de waardeketen van het bedrijf (bijv. logistiek door derden, zakenreizen van werknemers of afvalbeheer).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Een vijfjarenplan opstellen en publiceren met daarin de emissiereductiedoelstellingen, hoe het bedrijf deze wil bereiken en hoe de voortgang wordt gemonitord.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De CO2-voetafdruk en het plan voor emissiereductie gratis en in een gemakkelijk toegankelijk formaat openbaar maken, meestal op de website van het bedrijf.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hierdoor verandert de koolstofboekhouding van vrijwillige openbaarmaking naar een wettelijke verplichting. Besturen en management moeten zorgen voor nauwkeurige emissiemetingen en geloofwaardige reductieplannen opstellen die aansluiten bij de doelstelling van klimaatneutraliteit in 2050, ondersteund door goed gedocumenteerde gegevens.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Deelname aan het Spaanse CO2-voetafdrukregister biedt nu strategische voordelen, waaronder offici\u00eble erkenning, waardoor het een concurrentievoordeel oplevert.<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Spain enacted the Carbon Footprint and Reduction Planning Decree (Royal Decree), fulfilling the Climate Change and Energy Transition Law.
