Volgens het ministerie van Ecologische Transitie en Demografische Uitdagingen was deze sector in 2024 verantwoordelijk voor 33,31 TP56T van de totale broeikasgasemissies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vervoer is ook een belangrijke oorzaak van luchtvervuiling in stedelijke gebieden. Uit gegevens van het Europees Milieuagentschap blijkt dat slechte luchtkwaliteit in 2022 naar schatting 30.000 vroegtijdige sterfgevallen in Spanje heeft veroorzaakt.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De nieuwe wet inzake duurzame mobiliteit voldoet aan een belangrijke vereiste van wet 7\/2021 inzake klimaatverandering en energietransitie.
