Komisja Europejska opublikowa\u0142a plan przyspieszenia rozwoju kolei du\u017cych pr\u0119dko\u015bci w ca\u0142ej UE do 2040 r., dzi\u0119ki czemu wiele podr\u00f3\u017cy kolejowych stanie si\u0119 znacznie szybszych i bardziej konkurencyjnych. Inicjatywa ta wspiera cele Europy dotycz\u0105ce osi\u0105gni\u0119cia neutralno\u015bci emisyjnej do 2050 r. oraz wzmocnienia jej globalnej konkurencyjno\u015bci.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Plan opiera si\u0119 na <\/span>transeuropejska sie\u0107 transportowa<\/span><\/a> (TEN-T), kt\u00f3rego celem jest skr\u00f3cenie o po\u0142ow\u0119 czasu podr\u00f3\u017cy na kluczowych europejskich trasach kolejowych. Na przyk\u0142ad do 2030 r. pasa\u017cerowie b\u0119d\u0105 mogli podr\u00f3\u017cowa\u0107 z Berlina do Kopenhagi w cztery godziny zamiast siedmiu. Do 2035 r. podr\u00f3\u017c kolej\u0105 z Sofii do Aten b\u0119dzie trwa\u0142a sze\u015b\u0107 godzin zamiast 14, a nowe po\u0142\u0105czenia transgraniczne po\u0142\u0105cz\u0105 kraje ba\u0142tyckie i umo\u017cliwi\u0105 pasa\u017cerom podr\u00f3\u017c z Pary\u017ca do Lizbony przez Madryt.<\/span><\/p>\n

Opr\u00f3cz skr\u00f3cenia czasu podr\u00f3\u017cy, plan ma r\u00f3wnie\u017c na celu zmniejszenie zat\u0142oczenia, zwi\u0119kszenie przepustowo\u015bci linii konwencjonalnych oraz popraw\u0119 jako\u015bci us\u0142ug regionalnych i nocnych.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
