Enquanto outros setores est\u00e3o reduzindo suas emiss\u00f5es, o impacto clim\u00e1tico da avia\u00e7\u00e3o est\u00e1 aumentando. Este ano, o <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/flightradar24\/status\/1677361887812493329?s=20\">6 de julho<\/a>\u00a0foi o dia mais movimentado para a avia\u00e7\u00e3o comercial na hist\u00f3ria. Em um \u00fanico dia, 134.386 voos comerciais foram rastreados. As previs\u00f5es mostram que o n\u00famero de passageiros deve dobrar at\u00e9 2050. Com as trajet\u00f3rias atuais, os combust\u00edveis sustent\u00e1veis para avia\u00e7\u00e3o (SAF) n\u00e3o ser\u00e3o ampliados a tempo de atender \u00e0 urg\u00eancia de mitigar as mudan\u00e7as clim\u00e1ticas e respeitar o Acordo de Paris para limitar o aumento da temperatura a bem abaixo de 2 graus Celsius.<\/p>\n<p>Reduzir a procura por voos \u00e9 uma necessidade absoluta\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.transportenvironment.org\/discover\/2050roadmap\/\">(ver roteiro de T&amp;E<\/a>). Algumas das rotas mais movimentadas na Europa e at\u00e9 mesmo nos Estados Unidos podem ser facilmente percorridas por trem. O Travel Smart\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/travelsmartcampaign.org\/pt\/\">campanha<\/a>\u00a0calculou que viajar de trem entre Amsterd\u00e3 e Londres reduz as emiss\u00f5es em 93% em compara\u00e7\u00e3o com o voo: 92% entre Nova York e Washington e 82% entre Madri e Londres.<\/p>\n<p>A redu\u00e7\u00e3o dos voos corporativos come\u00e7ou com a pandemia do coronav\u00edrus. A T&amp;E tem\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/travelsmartcampaign.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Rail-first-for-business_2023-11-2.pdf\">encontrado\u00a0<\/a>que todas as empresas em nossa nova pesquisa que relataram seus quil\u00f4metros percorridos por via a\u00e9rea em 2019 os reduziram em 2022. Para as empresas, elas s\u00e3o: redefinir viagens com prop\u00f3sito, desenvolver ferramentas de colabora\u00e7\u00e3o virtual e mudar para o transporte ferrovi\u00e1rio, que \u00e9 o foco aqui.<\/p>\n<p>O novo\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/travelsmartcampaign.org\/pt\/\">Viagem Inteligente<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/travelsmartcampaign.org\/pt\/trilho-primeiro\/\">Campanha Rail First<\/a>\u00a0analisou as pr\u00e1ticas de viagens corporativas de 322 das maiores empresas do mundo para ver se elas est\u00e3o engajadas na mudan\u00e7a do a\u00e9reo para o ferrovi\u00e1rio. Vamos ver o que descobrimos.<\/p>\n<p><b>Poucos l\u00edderes empresariais ferrovi\u00e1rios, a maioria sentados em seus assentos de avi\u00e3o<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Das 322 empresas rastreadas, apenas 28 foram identificadas com pol\u00edticas internas para mudar do a\u00e9reo para o ferrovi\u00e1rio. Cerca de 90% das empresas no painel n\u00e3o t\u00eam a\u00e7\u00f5es para mudar do a\u00e9reo para o ferrovi\u00e1rio ou n\u00e3o se comunicaram sobre elas. Sete das 28 empresas s\u00e3o pioneiras devido ao seu maior comprometimento em mudar do a\u00e9reo para o ferrovi\u00e1rio.<\/p>\n<p>Para obter essas informa\u00e7\u00f5es, contatamos cada uma das 322 empresas com uma pesquisa e usamos informa\u00e7\u00f5es corporativas publicamente dispon\u00edveis relacionadas a ferrovias. Nos \u00faltimos seis meses, trocamos informa\u00e7\u00f5es com diferentes multinacionais sobre a mudan\u00e7a do transporte a\u00e9reo para o ferrovi\u00e1rio. Um ponto de partida \u00e9 definir or\u00e7amentos de clima de viagem e proibi\u00e7\u00f5es de voos de curta dist\u00e2ncia.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Algumas empresas destacam barreiras \u00e0 mudan\u00e7a para o transporte ferrovi\u00e1rio.<\/b>\u00a0Em nossas trocas, algumas empresas regularmente apontaram que a mudan\u00e7a para o trem n\u00e3o era poss\u00edvel devido a inefici\u00eancias da rede ferrovi\u00e1ria (por exemplo, emiss\u00e3o de bilhetes complexa, tempo perdido devido a atrasos ou trens lentos etc.). Embora algumas das barreiras identificadas sejam leg\u00edtimas, acredito que nem todas s\u00e3o. Primeiro, porque voc\u00ea pode ser muito mais produtivo trabalhando em um trem do que em um avi\u00e3o. Mas tamb\u00e9m porque a vis\u00e3o das empresas sobre o tempo gasto viajando deve evoluir. A maneira de trabalhar p\u00f3s-pandemia e em um contexto de crescente urg\u00eancia clim\u00e1tica n\u00e3o pode ser a mesma de antes. Para dizer as coisas claramente: uma viagem de volta de avi\u00e3o dentro de um dia entre Berlim e Bruxelas tem um impacto clim\u00e1tico muito alto para ser aceit\u00e1vel em nossos dias, quando as consequ\u00eancias da crise clim\u00e1tica j\u00e1 s\u00e3o t\u00e3o vis\u00edveis.
