Un tabou encore largement r\u00e9pandu en France, comme le r\u00e9v\u00e8le l\u2019\u00e9dition 2023\u00a0 [1] du <a href=\"http:\/\/travelsmartcampaign.org\/ranking\/\">classement \u00ab Travel Smart \u00bb<\/a>, publi\u00e9 ce mercredi. Sur 35 grandes entreprises de l\u2019Hexagone, seulement 9 ont des objectifs clairs de r\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions de CO2 li\u00e9es aux voyages professionnels [2].\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le Cr\u00e9dit Agricole est le seul \u00e0 obtenir la note maximale (A), gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ses objectifs de r\u00e9duction \u00e0 court terme. De gros \u00e9metteurs comme Bouygues, Saint-Gobain, l\u2019Or\u00e9al sont mal not\u00e9s (C) car ils n\u2019ont pas d\u2019objectifs sp\u00e9cifiques sur les voyages d&#8217;affaires. Enfin, Michelin, Engie et Danone re\u00e7oivent la plus mauvaise note (D), notamment parce qu\u2019ils ne publient pas chaque ann\u00e9e le total de leurs \u00e9missions li\u00e9es aux voyages professionnels.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-6569\" src=\"http:\/\/travelsmartcampaign.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Original_Infographic-2-Ranking-card-for-companies-13-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/travelsmartcampaign.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Original_Infographic-2-Ranking-card-for-companies-13-1024x576.png 1024w, https:\/\/travelsmartcampaign.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Original_Infographic-2-Ranking-card-for-companies-13-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/travelsmartcampaign.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Original_Infographic-2-Ranking-card-for-companies-13-768x432.png 768w, https:\/\/travelsmartcampaign.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Original_Infographic-2-Ranking-card-for-companies-13-1536x864.png 1536w, https:\/\/travelsmartcampaign.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Original_Infographic-2-Ranking-card-for-companies-13-18x10.png 18w, https:\/\/travelsmartcampaign.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Original_Infographic-2-Ranking-card-for-companies-13.png 1920w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><b>Les effets \u00ab non CO2 \u00bb largement ignor\u00e9s\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Si certaines soci\u00e9t\u00e9s fran\u00e7aises s\u2019en sortent mieux que d\u2019autres, aucune n\u2019a de cible sp\u00e9cifique pour diminuer les trajets effectu\u00e9s en avion, alors m\u00eame qu\u2019il faut rapidement r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions du secteur a\u00e9rien. En plus de ne pas avoir d\u2019objectifs de r\u00e9duction, les entreprises fran\u00e7aises n\u2019\u00e9valuent pas correctement l\u2019impact de leurs voyages d\u2019affaires en avion.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En effet, lors des vols, les moteurs des appareils \u00e9mettent de nombreux gaz en plus du CO2 comme les oxydes d\u2019azote, le dioxyde de soufre, ainsi que des particules (suie). Ces \u00e9missions, dites \u00ab non-CO2 \u00bb repr\u00e9sentent environ deux tiers de l\u2019impact climatique total de l\u2019avion. Pourtant, une seule entreprise fran\u00e7aise du classement (Faurecia, class\u00e9e C) les prend en compte.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>R\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions li\u00e9es aux voyages d\u2019affaires de 50% d\u2019ici 2030<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Denise Auclair, responsable de la campagne Travel Smart pour Transport &amp; Environment (T&amp;E), explique : \u00ab <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les entreprises ferment les yeux sur les cons\u00e9quences n\u00e9fastes des voyages d&#8217;affaires en avion. La plupart d&#8217;entre elles prennent peu ou pas de mesures concernant les vols d&#8217;affaires, ce qui rend tout autre objectif de d\u00e9placement insignifiant dans le contexte de la lutte contre le changement climatique. En Europe, seules quelques soci\u00e9t\u00e9s s&#8217;alignent sur la science en d\u00e9clarant les \u00e9missions autres que le CO2 &#8211; la partie cach\u00e9e de l&#8217;iceberg de l&#8217;impact total de l&#8217;aviation sur le climat <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00bb.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/travelsmartcampaign.org\/library\/travel-smart-briefing-2023\/\">L&#8217;\u00e9tude<\/a> montre que si 10 % des entreprises &#8211; les plus grosses \u00e9mettrices du classement &#8211; se fixaient des objectifs de r\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions des voyages d\u2019affaires de 50 %, elles feraient la moiti\u00e9 du chemin pour atteindre l&#8217;objectif mondial (- 50 %) de baisse des \u00e9missions du transport a\u00e9rien d&#8217;affaires d&#8217;ici \u00e0 2025. En France, le plus gros \u00e9metteur est Bouygues (260.000 tonnes de CO2 li\u00e9es aux voyages en avion [3]). R\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions de l&#8217;aviation est aujourd&#8217;hui plus crucial que jamais, si nous voulons limiter le r\u00e9chauffement climatique \u00e0 1,5\u00b0C.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>D\u00e9velopper les alternatives \u00e0 l\u2019avion\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">D&#8217;ici \u00e0 2030, le meilleur moyen de r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions de l&#8217;aviation est donc de moins voler, car la production \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9chelle industrielle des carburants durables et des avions \u00e0 \u00e9missions nulles n&#8217;interviendra qu&#8217;apr\u00e8s cette date. Par ailleurs, les pratiques de \u00ab compensation \u00bb ne remplaceront jamais la r\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La campagne Travel Smart invite les entreprises \u00e0 se fixer des objectifs ambitieux pour r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions li\u00e9es aux voyages d&#8217;affaires, \u00e0 remplacer l&#8217;avion par le train lorsque cela est possible et \u00e0 privil\u00e9gier les outils de travail \u00e0 distance pour remplacer les vols long-courriers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Denise Auclair conclut : \u00ab <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les plus grands \u00e9metteurs ont un r\u00f4le \u00e9norme \u00e0 jouer dans la r\u00e9duction de leurs \u00e9missions li\u00e9es aux voyages d&#8217;affaires. Les moyens d&#8217;y parvenir sont plus accessibles que jamais : le train lorsque les distances le permettent et la vid\u00e9oconf\u00e9rence pour \u00e9viter les vols long-courriers. <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Notes aux \u00e9diteurs\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">[1] Transport &amp; Environment, en lien avec une coalition de partenaires mondiaux, a lanc\u00e9 la campagne Travel Smart en 2022 avec l&#8217;\u00e9dition annuelle d&#8217;un classement des entreprises sur les voyages d&#8217;affaires. La campagne s&#8217;adresse aux entreprises, l&#8217;objectif \u00e9tant qu&#8217;elles r\u00e9duisent leurs \u00e9missions li\u00e9es aux voyages d&#8217;affaires de 50 % ou plus par rapport aux niveaux d&#8217;avant la crise, d&#8217;ici 2025 ou plus t\u00f4t.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le Travel Smart Ranking inclut 322 entreprises am\u00e9ricaines, europ\u00e9ennes et indiennes en fonction de 10 indicateurs relatifs aux \u00e9missions des voyages a\u00e9riens, aux objectifs de r\u00e9duction et aux rapports des entreprises. Les grands voyageurs des 17 pays du classement repr\u00e9sentent une part importante des voyages d&#8217;affaires dans le monde. L&#8217;analyse met en lumi\u00e8re les efforts importants que certaines entreprises mondiales doivent encore consentir pour r\u00e9duire leurs \u00e9missions li\u00e9es aux voyages d&#8217;affaires. Les entreprises re\u00e7oivent une note de A, B, C ou D.\u00a0 Sur le classement total, 11 entreprises (dont Cr\u00e9dit Agricole) sur 322 obtiennent un A, 38 entreprises obtiennent un B, 212 entreprises un C et 61 sont not\u00e9es D.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les entreprises qui figurent dans le classement ont \u00e9t\u00e9 s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9es sur plusieurs crit\u00e8res: capitalisation boursi\u00e8re, nombre d\u2019employ\u00e9s, pr\u00e9sence dans le top 100 des entreprises utilisant le plus l\u2019avion, \u00e9missions mesur\u00e9es par le Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), pr\u00e9sence dans le SBTi (index d\u2019entreprises engag\u00e9es pour r\u00e9duire leurs \u00e9missions). La m\u00e9thodologie compl\u00e8te est pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e dans le rapport.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">[2] Liste compl\u00e8te: Cr\u00e9dit Agricole, Servier, Cap Gemini, AXA, Sopra Steria, Dassault Syst\u00e8mes, SPIE, Amundi et Publicis.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">[3] Emissions de 2019.
