All'aeroporto di Eindhoven è vietato l'uso di jet privati

Governo olandese
Gennaio 2026

Annunciata nel novembre del 2023, la misura fa parte del progetto strategia dell'aeroporto to cut carbon dioxide emissions and noise pollution by 30% by 2030.

To achieve these 2030 targets, Eindhoven Airport is introducing these key measures:

  • Minimising capacity for fossil-fuel or other private flights starting January 2026

  • Capping annual flights at 40,500 (2026–2027) before switching to noise-based monitoring in 2028

  • Fast-tracking low-noise departure procedures to protect local communities

  • Only allowing latest-generation aircraft at Eindhoven Airport by 2030

  • Increasing sustainable aviation fuels blend mandates and subsidising airlines that use it

Questa decisione fa seguito alle precedenti misure adottate dal governo olandese, tra cui la introduzione di una tassa sui voli basata sulla distanza e prevede di aumentare le tasse sui jet privati dal 2030.

Airports will need to prioritise essential flights rather than those serving only a small segment, whose journeys could be done by commercial flight or rail.
